Polaroid Image Soft Tone Edge Cut
The Impossible Project recently put on sale a limited amount of ‘Edge Cut’ Image Soft Tone film. It was seriously cheap (by Polaroid standards at least!) at just £8 per 10 exposure pack. The ‘Edge Cut’ part of the name means the film is made from the edges of the sheets of photo sensitive material, so it is more prone to faults, but at less than half the price of normal...

Soviet film-maker Andrei Tarkovsky always carried a Polaroid camera with him. This gallery on the Guardian website shows some examples… there’s a book too (just ordered from Amazon).
Update: The book has arrived! in terms of design it’s a bit tacky. The Polaroids are all printed life size and with their white frames, which is nice. But the rather heavy fake shadows under each...
