Aberdour Castle (Fife, Scotland) shot using Impossible PX70 Brusch Bag shot in a Polaroid SX-70 (original model). A while back Impossible sold some film that had failed their normal quality control in sold call ‘Brusch Bags’. The film was very cheap (10 packs for £50 is memory serves me correctly) so I though I’d give it a try . It was extremely disappointing. It didn’t just have flaws, it was almost completely unusable, with much of it getting jammed in the camera. What was worse, most of it was completely unlabelled, so I had no idea what camera to use it in. But despite all that, some of the shots had a certain… err… charm(!). note that these shots have since faded to almost nothing.

This is the latest generation of PX70 produces really lovely colours. This is a rare example of a PX70 shot without the orange streak I usually get about a third down from the top of the photo.

This is the latest generation of PX70 produces really lovely colours. It’s a shame I’m still getting the odd shaped orange streak about a third of the way from the top on most (but not all) shots on PX70. It’s not too obvious on this one, but I’m finding this problem a bit frustrating. I don;t get it at all when shooting TZ Artistic in the same camera.
