Shot using Polaroid SX-70 TZ Artistic film in a Polaroid SX-70 Alpha 1 camera with the 121 closeup lens.
I knew the camera would use a really long shutter speed of about 6 or 7 seconds, so I just moved the sunflower halfway through the exposure to create a kind of multiple exposure type effect.

My friend Alan recently let me raid his collection of old slide to make some Polaroid prints using my Vivitar Instant Slide Printer. These shots were shot in Greece in 1980. This Polaroid print was made using Polaroid 669 film.
I don’t know why I’ve never thought of doing double exposures in my Vivitar before! I’m rather pleased with the way this one came out right at the end of my print making session, so I will be trying this again next time…

I find the older Polaroid film gets the more gelatinous the chemicals become and the more smudgy the prints become in turn.
